Terms of using Hunar Circle

These terms govern your use of Hunar Circle. By browsing the listing, signing up, or submitting a profile or business, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Hunar Circle is a free, manually-verified listing that connects members of the Dawoodi Bohra community for skills and business discovery. We are not an employer, not a party to any transaction or engagement you enter into, and we don't currently offer in-app payments or messaging - any conversation or arrangement happens directly between the two people involved.

Hunar Circle is intended for the Dawoodi Bohra community. Our review team may confirm this, along with the rest of your submission, during manual verification. Approving or rejecting any submission is at our discretion - if we reject one, we'll give you a brief reason, but we're not obliged to explain further.

By submitting a profile or business, you agree to:

• Submit accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Use a real photo of yourself - not a stock image, someone else's photo, or an AI-generated one. This is an active check during review, not just a rule on paper.
• Never impersonate another person or business.
• Never submit a profile or business on someone else's behalf without their consent.

You keep ownership of the photos, descriptions and other content you submit. By submitting it, you grant Hunar Circle a licence to display it on the site and to generate preview images and shareable cards from it (for example, the image that shows up when your profile link is shared on WhatsApp or social media).

A "verified" badge means a reviewer completed a basic identity and legitimacy check - confirming a real photo and, where something looked off, a phone or WhatsApp call. It is not a certification of the quality of anyone's work or the legitimacy of a business. We aren't responsible for the outcome of any engagement between two people who connect through the platform.

You can edit your profile and toggle your availability status at any time from your account dashboard - most edits go live immediately. Changing something identity-level (your name, primary skill, or uploading a new photo), or making any edit at all to a previously-rejected profile, sends it back through manual review before it's public again. You can remove a business listing you've added yourself at any time.

We can remove a profile or business from public view - at any point, including one already live - if it violates these terms, is a repeat rejected resubmission, or looks like spam.

Hunar Circle is provided "as is." We don't vet the actual quality of anyone's work, and we're not a party to any dispute that arises between you and someone else you contact through the platform - that's between the two of you.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to Indian courts.

If these terms change, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. At our current scale, we don't promise a separate notification for every change.

Hunar Circle is free with no in-app payments today. If we introduce a paid "Featured" listing or similar in future, a separate payments addendum will apply on top of these terms rather than replacing them.
