Who can join?
Any skilled Dawoodi Bohra individual who offers a craft, trade or professional service. You sign up with an email and password and add your profile.
How long does approval take?
A reviewer checks every submission by hand. It is usually quick, and you will see the status on your account dashboard.
How do people contact me?
Visitors tap Contact on your card and reach you through Call, WhatsApp and email buttons. Your phone number is never shown as text, and you choose whether the Call and email buttons appear at all. WhatsApp always works through a message button once you add a WhatsApp number.
What is the difference between a profile, a work experience, and a business?
Your profile is you and your skill. A work experience is somewhere you have worked or contributed - it shows only on your own Hunar card. A business is one you own or are part of; it gets its own public page in Business Listings after our team verifies it.
What gets listed publicly?
Your profile and your businesses, and only after they have been verified. A work experience is never listed on its own - it shows only on your own Hunar card as part of your story.
Do I need to verify a business?
Yes. A business goes through the same manual check as a profile, a quick call or WhatsApp message from our team, before it goes live in Business Listings. Editing a listed business sends it back for another check.
Can I add my work when I sign up?
Yes. You can add your businesses and work experience right after you submit your profile, and they are reviewed alongside it. A business only goes live once both it and your profile are approved. You can also add work any time later from your account dashboard.
Does a business use my personal number?
No. A business has its own WhatsApp number that you enter separately when you add it. Your personal number stays with your profile, and neither number is ever shown as text - visitors message the business through a WhatsApp button after they tap Contact.
How many businesses or work experiences can I add?
Five in total, businesses and work experiences combined. You add and manage them from your account dashboard - alongside your profile when you sign up, or any time after.
